The best network in Brazil
In recent years, TIM Brasil has consolidated itself as a leader in network quality, as evidenced by Opensignal reports. In July 2023, TIM was recognized as the first Brazilian operator to win the Consistent Quality award, with a score of 60.1%, beating Claro by 2.4 percentage points and Vivo, which came in behind with 56.3%. This recognition was an important milestone, demonstrating our continued commitment to excellence in telecommunications services.
In January 2025, TIM achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Consistent Quality award for the third consecutive time, with a score of 68.3%, leading by two percentage points over Vivo and four percentage points over Claro. In addition, TIM maintained its leadership in 5G services, winning the 5G Availability and 5G Reach awards. This latest award reflects that our users were connected to 5G services in more than four out of every ten locations visited.
The January 2025 report reaffirms TIM’s position as a leader in network quality in Brazil. TIM was once again highlighted by Opensignal as the operator with the best consistent quality, in addition to maintaining its leadership in 5G availability and reach. These results are the result of continuous investments in infrastructure and innovation, including the incorporation of Oi’s spectrum and frequencies obtained in the 5G auction.

The independent company that analyzes mobile network performance also evaluated the experience at major events, and TIM guaranteed the best performance at Carnival 2025 in the four biggest event centers: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador and Recife.
